Yeah, never heard of an FTO (had to look that up)

Looks like a lot of work went into that!

Great job! I love it. I have always wanted one, they have just become legal to import here in the USA and I may have to pick one up.

Nice! I have a soft spot for FTOs. I saw one, here in the US, back in 2009 or so. It was in L.A. at a used car dealership. It was a base model, A/T car but I still wanted it after racing
one around in Gran Turismo for a year. It was awesome in AWD.

Their paperwork didn't come in before I stopped working down there, so meh. Not sure how they even planned on getting it done.
Anyway, I posted the pictures on MySpace and nobody knew what it was. LOL

**edit: I found the pictures. Cool car.

FTO use lancer suspension so you know what that means 😁 It can be converted to awd.

The 6g75 is proving itself to be a very excellent engine. I love my 4th gen eclipse with it. I've seen it swaped to a 3000gt, 90-94 mirage, 97 to 03 mirage and a fto.

Btw this fto looks absolutely amazing. Everything seems tastefully done.

A very clean install! I also have an FTO GX 6A12. Very nice cars for the twisties. Located in the Caribbean. The car is in a covered storage collecting dust...lol

Sure. If you could build a tunnel for the driveline, transfer case, rear diff, rear subframe, and everything else AWD.

Us poor folks in usa didn’t have evo1-7 so that’s exactly what I did to build this

I refuse to cut the car to put in awd. Lift the carpet and it still looks new! No way!

yeah that’s why you need to find one in not so good condition, maybe one with blown engine and body in bad shape so you can have a good excuse for a complete awd build

Haha. That is an option. I was considering the awd swap. I have driven ftos, evos and eclipses before. This fto with koni inserts handles totally different. Very surprising for a fwd car with lots of grip and it is aggressive through the twisties. The back is still a hazard though as it is lightweight and short compared to a sedan. For now it makes a cool collectors piece but not ready for competition in stock form.
