RRM Timing Controller
Hi, does anyone have the RRM Timing Controller installed in their Outlander Sport?
I am thinking of getting one. I noticed in the Lancer forums that you would need to use higher octane gas. The RRM website doesn't mention it for the Outlander Sport but it does for the Lancer.
Thanks for the help guys!

I'm sure you need to use a higher octane gas for he rrm timing controller. If you check the bottom of the dyno sheet it states 09 lancer on it. I'm sure they just took the dyno of the lancer and just pasted on the outlander sport's page. In most cases upgrades in performance found in lancers can be done to the O sport minus exhaust option pass the headers.

Our engine is the exact same as the Lancer, you'd see identical gains. If you're actually interested in trying out the RRM module there is no reason to wait, just look up the Lancer data and then buy one.
