1969 Plymouth Barracuda

Here's my buddy's ol' Cuda.

Yeah, yeah.. I know those wheels aren't stock.

But, he won second place for the Classics 1965-1969 class.

That Cuda is very nice . I don't understand guys who bring newer cars to a "classic" show , the show here ...15th annual Syracuse Nationals has always been 1980 and older , and they are pretty strict about it , this year they did ,on Sunday only let "American muscle " cars in ..The new Challengers,Mustangs and Camaros but that's a first .

I know.. Can you believe he bought that Cuda off of eBay? I was stunned when he did it. But, it turned out totally legit.

Exactly! There's plenty of car gatherings why would they bring their modern vehicles to Classic Muscle meets?

Talking Scrat Kat...

Or, it is Scat Pack...

2015 Dodge Challenger R/T with a smudge of Scat!
So, what the hell is a bumblebee doing in there - 6.4-liter V-8 engine? Making only 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque...

Looks like my baby girl may get a full dose of Americana very soon.
(waiting for the damn rain to stop.)

it's the new family car.

ha.
It's in the "family" is what I meant.
well, okay okay. Stop twisting my arm. It's my 'white' brother's personal daily ride, to be exact.

The guy in the post above - with the blue '69 Cuda - he added to his collection.

Yeah, with a 392cu.in. Hemi like that one I'd don't care what you have as the emblem! It could be a stinkin' pile of sea slugs, for all I care.

You tap that gas peddle a quarter way and it slams you into the seat... & that's just in "Normal" settings, then you have "Sport" and "Track" Modes too.

He was showing me all the different settings/configurations you can choose from the command screen, it really was like a freaking fighter jet.
It's even got the radar (Adaptive cruise control) and cylinder deactivation when he's at cruising speed.

Wow ...nice car . I sat in one at the car show earlier this month ...I don't know if it was just me but the seats didn't feel as though I would want to take a long trip in them ...lol ... be it a quick one ...
Then I messed up and sat in the new Camaro ZL1 ..... it was like getting a hug ...the seat just wrapped up in and held on to you like a race seat but comfy ....lol

To compare the new Challenger's suede&leather seats to other brands : Audi's firmer (S4), BMW has the best leather buckets on the market, IMO (330i), Cadillac's are okay - kind of soft (CTS-V), Ford Mustang nice but the seat back flexes too much, infiniti are decent (G37S), and Lexus is way way softer (LS430)

> Me personally - compare his New '15 Challenger buckets seats to his '68 Charger full bench OR his '69 Barracuda's bench (w/ fold down center arm rest) there's absolutely no comparison.

I agree compared to originals new is no comparison , I wont argue that and I agree on the rest , BMW has the best seats .
But the way that ZR1 seat wrapped me in it was pretty cool but Im a small sized guy 5'8" 165 so maybe it was just me ....and it was for about a minute or less.
