Didn't see any thread dedicated to this specific topic.. So,
Here's what I've got (so far) >
Sort of wards off the careless/crazy parking lot drivers who likes/insists on parking just inches from my bumper.
Gives me a bit more of a buffer zone that I like.

Here's what I've got (so far) >
- 2-5/16" Steel Hitch Ball
- 6" Drop Hitch Mount - Class III (inversed and a new 5/8" pin hole drilled, so to reduce the "protrusion")

it was a 2009 Honda Ruckus 49cc
Everything has been moded on it, custom NCY front end with big brake conversation, it is stretched 8 1/2" lowered 3" custom seat frame, ect ect ect....
The trailer was custom made from scratch for the bike by my father in law.
and yes the claymore is cool but not $50.00 cool lol

Very nice. Do you race that on a track or is it just for weekend rides?
BTW, would your father-in-law be a machinist? He's obviously very handy with the raw metal.

ughh close parkers! I've been thinking about getting hitch set up for bikes and your above comment seals it i think. People in cities seem to pride themselves on being able to get into the tightest spot possible which means anyone trying to get out has to do a 400 point turn to do so. Drives me crazy, I never see the idiots doing it either, it's always when I come back to the car...probably a good thing come to think of it haha.
Especially when they pull this stunt -
*********
Honestly, I think CURT hitch should be made factory standard equipment on our vehicles..
JUST DO IT!

My father in law builds trailers for fun, he is a perfectionist at everything he does, I had the wheels tires 1" spacers, and I painted it my self. he hand made the 3rd wheel holder too. he is slick when it comes to building trailers.
I still have it

no I bought it to take to cars shows so I could drive it around while my evo was showing, then I could not leave well enough alone lol so I just started cutting it up and modifying it... I actually traded it straight up for a 1996 N/A Miata not too long ago so I could go racing now that I have sold my Evo9.

That's a fun car to throw around a track!!
well, from all that I've seen so far.. I can't wait to see when yall get done with the classic restoration.
OH Yeah.. you know it brother!
And, IF I wanted to be Extra Nasty - I can "protrude" that hitch mount out an additional 6 inches (for a total of 17" Protrusion !!! > That WILL almost guarantee it'll take out that mercedes bumper's styrofoam padding & aluminum reinforcement beam, plus electric (push) fan, A/C condenser, then radiator, and perhaps I'll get extra lucky and bust out a blade or two of their radiator (pull) fan.
