I have been looking at this size tire it is 255/55/R18 he has them on a 8" wide wheel I would be running them on a 9" wide tire so the tires would be a little more square up.

I love the general grabber look on the outlander and any small SUV to be honest, and I think it will fill the wheel gap better since I am still running the 225/55/R18 that can on my O.S., they are stretched over the 18"x 9" wheels causing a bit more wheel gap. The taller tire and 1.5" drop should do the trick...

Hey Bud, what size you looking at? I'll be honest, these ***** fit just perfectly with no room ****ery. Got about 3" of travel before they rub the inner wheel well. Like I'll hear a lil scrub now and then when hit a dip cruzing. I wouldn't recommend trying to put anything taller than what I push to. I considered dropping to 16" but can't remember the format I was looking at.. Decided to split the difference with 17"..
