Like the title says I got a great deal on some used winter tires from an EVO, stock EVO size 245/40r18. Will these fit our Outlander Sport SE 18 inch rims without issue? Same rim from the Ralliart I believe. Thanks!

While the tire "WILL FIT", it's not going to be the same aspect ratio. "height". it will throw off your speedo, and I'm not sure how it will affect your trans. Being within a 5% range is acceptable, so if you're only up or down (lets say "5") from your original "overall" tire size you'd be fine. I recommend staying with in that range on today's cars unless it's something ou can either program (which we can't on the OS) or re-gear for.
I had 225/45/18's on my Sonata, but going to a 245/40/18 was pretty dang close. I think the OS is a 225/55/18, so going that low IMO is not a good thing.

OP,
You're basically slapping on lower profile tires on our stock rims. It's not only going to throw off the speedo, but cause your CVT to work harder to maintain (regular) highway speeds.

Granted you'll "obtain" a bit of a off the line torque advantage with this 245/40r18 setup... But I would imagine you Do NOT want that in winter conditions. AND, it will cost you in lower MPGs.
