I have saw those photos as well, but I saw them associated with a redesign of the outlander PHEV, (Which the states haven't even gotten the current model yet) not the O.Sport.

If you use the 360° viewer for the Big O on the Mistu website and spin it to that angle I'd say thats just a conceptish version of the Big O. Basically everything is the same, just has fancier front end and rims.

Hell..
In fact if you spin it fast enough it'll look exactly like a 2017 Lexus LX580.

I agree, if that is the concept they are going it looks like it was hit with the ugly stick.

from the article:
Spotted at a port in Japan getting ready for shipment, the production-ready Outlanders didn't carry any disguise even though the car has not been officially unveiled yet. These spy shots provide a clear view of the rear end which adopts significantly different taillights which have grown in size and feature red graphics. There are also some chrome accents and a redesigned bumper now hosting the fog lights.

@trev
Thanks for sharing.

From what it looked like in the 2015s, it's an improvement - both front & back!

I personally love the facelift and can't wait to see what the os will look like, especially if Mitsu plans to do the same facelift for their entire lineup.
