Will it fit 2015 as well? I've been looking a bit for something for mine too

I dunno, but probably. Its listed for Lancer but someone else here has it as well. It had a nicer heat shield than RRMs own brand. I would think it'll fit fine so long as your MAF sensor deal is the same as mine. If contact RRM customer service, theyll ask for a pic of your intake and compare it to theirs. Their site says the short ram won't fit but the lady I talked to said it would, and if not, I'd just need a universal part from Advance or whatever to make it work. Like one of those silicone elbows or something, I can see it in my mind but I can't think of the name. Easy stuff though.

I dunno if your 2.4 would use the same intake as my 2.0 but we'll see soon.

Its at the post office, but hadn't been put in my box last I checked.

I also talked to Meineke about doing my exhaust, and they recommended keeping most of my pipe and just cutting off the resonater and muffler, and adding what I want...about $80 in labor.

Thought about getting a cat-back but the pipe is like 2-2 1/4 all the way back from the stock header. I'm not changing that at this time, and may never because it's too expensive. So it's time to go order a muffler.

I'll probably have the Takeda in tomorrow before I sleep, and then I'm on my four days on nights. It might have to wait till I'm off again.

I'm wondering about that one pulley, how hard it'll be to do on my own. I don't have a lift or even a jack.

Also, I will say that while it's nice for gas mileage, I do not approve of this CVT, and will do my best to NEVER have another.

I should have gotten the 5spd and gotten good at driving stick.

I wonder what sort of wizardry it'd take to get a regular 5-6spd auto in there....totally not worth the money, but just curious.

It's kind of funny, how back in the 80s-90s you would have to pay extra to get an automatic.. Nowadays, you have to pay extra just to find a stick.

Personally, I prefer a manual anyday..
I can live without the supposed "smooth shifts" of the CVT.
And, until they make the CVT transmission Belt (or Performance parts available to the general public) I would do my best to avoid another of this type of transmission myself, for our next vehicle also.

*********

It takes about 3-5 days of practicing with a manual to get the hang of it.
Once you get the feel of when to shift/powerband of the engine, and 'over the initial fear of stalling' it's like second nature.

Check out the Russian who dropped a EVO engine into his RVR, I'm sure he swopped in the manual at the same time he transplanted the 2.0L Turbo!

That'd be a hell of a project. I just want to get up and go...I had a 2.4 with an auto in my Eclipse and it was plenty quick. I hope my few moda wake the OS up a bit.

When it comes time to trade maybe I can have a Ralliart. Or a full size O with v6 and 4x4...

that intake might get you 1-3hp ... or you might even lose hp (short ram in hot engine bay - most likely).
its an expensive noisemaker at best.

Cobb doesn't even recommend an intake for the Evo until Stage 3. it doesn't do anything until then.

Who's Cobb? Anyway, I have no idea what the numbers will say when it's done but my butt dyno says otherwise.

Also...I've been looking at ways to get the hot air out of there.

I'd kill for a manual AWD. Only Subaru (Forester) makes one in this class AFAIK

short ram intake will certainly get the hot air into your engine. it will make a sweet woooshing noise, though.
