Change Your Brake Fluid?

Change Your Brake Fluid?
Anyone have any thoughts (pro/con) on changing braking fluid? My maintenance schedule says I'm due. But I have NEVER done this on a regular basis with any car I've owned.

I've tried it once... (in my old mazda)
Had only the most basic tools (ie: cheapest brake bleeding gadget) it was not the way I would go about it.
I was very unsure if I had evacuated all the air from the brake lines, in fact I felt I may have introduced air into the lines more so then bleeding it.
So, Unless you have the proper vacuum brake bleed equipment and confident you can do it right the first time, I'd say go to the dealer and have them do it.

you should replace your brake fluid when you have your brake pads replaced . Calipers do get a lot of heat built up in them, also as Landshark stated " brake fluid is hydroscopic and absorbs water "
