I don't know if I'll have any luck with this, but do any of you have a busted axle or axles lying around? I need the threaded outer ends off of one or more to test my hubs!

 

hey i just bought an 06 MR and it came with an exhaust. does anyone know if an evo8 stock exhaust fit my car? I dont want the extra attention that comes with it :P

 

Yes the Evo 8 exhaust will fit.

 

it should...i know that the exhaust note is differnt from the evo 8 to evo9 as they redesigned the muffler (internally i believe).

i have an entire (still bolted together) OEM exhaust from my 06 MR, if u need one.....

With so many meets/events this weekend how are people fitting it all in?

Sat night: KK meet in t-town
Sun: XXX meet
Sat night: ugly sweater competition


My plan is to be at the KK meet in T-town and at the ER dyno tune on Sunday.

Still no luck, huh? I thought I saw something in Craigslist, but it might have not been an MR. I'd look in OR and CA too, btw.

 

If you're talking full TBE there could be fitment issues at the DP due to ACD. I guess it depends on the definition of "exhaust."

 

If my car is figgered out I will be doing ER dyno day on Saturday, KK meet that night + party (not sure which order that will occur in yet, but I suppose it depends on when I get out of the Drift Office), and then XXX meet on Sunday. Followed that night by a neighborhood xmas party. Good times!

I'm really glad the community is still in full swing during the winter, btw! I figured it would die off a bit. We haven't even done a meet at one of the passes yet! Assuming I head out for Montana in a couple weeks, I'll likely miss out on that until 2010.

@BellyD: I've been practicing my poses for a long time, and still look manly as hell doing them! But sadly wont see you if the schedules remain as they are

But i've got about 300 shots left on the DSLR before the memory card is full, so with luck i'll figure out how to do night photography soon! (christmas light photos didnt turn out so hot)
