This is a standard feature of the Lamborghini. They catch on fire. It's possible that this isn't user error, so don't jump t conclusions so easily

That being said, it's equally as possible that this guy ran the car too hard for too long. Fuel lines sweat over the exhaust manifold, and fire happens. I love them.. But even if I were super rich, I still probably wouldn't want one for that reason.

The owners had too much fuel in it to let it into the building. I do a ton of trade shows and more than 1/4 tank is a no no for the fire marshalls in most every area I've been.

So they decided to run it at high rpm to burn the fuel out (instead of taking it out on the road?). After a while the guy doing it got bored, so he came up with the genius idea of putting a chunk of wood on the throttle and letting it bounce off the rev limiter.

Eventually it overheated and caught fire. (For those that don't want to read the long article)

From what I know this wasn't the owner who did the wonderful task of destroying the car, it was the staff at the auto show
