Back in an Evo
Not sure how many of you remember me and my old WW RS IX, with the blue Autopower cage etc. Sold it back in Nov 2008 after parting it out.
Finally getting another one. Got my plane ticket and I'm flying down to Huntington Beach on Wednesday and driving back my new to me '05 RR SSL

I've helped friends do it, and it is a lot of fun. The furthest trek was from Atlanta on a Saturday @ noon back to work in Redmond on Monday @ 9A. I don't know if I remember you, but welcome back!

Thanks Aaron- I've been lurking the entire time, on and off atleast. I really wanted to get another IX but it's hard to find a cleanly modified and well cared for IX under $20k, especially a 1 owner clean CarFax car such as this. It'll be a while before I can do much to it, so it was best to get one already modded. It will be hard to convince the wife that I need expensive parts, so I'm already a step ahead. I'm sure I'll have you re-tune it at some point. I'd like to switch the Green to a black and the HKS 272's to GSC S2's.

from what I know, that owner you picked it up from is legit too. I know a few local members that have worked with that person and had nothing but good things to say.
There used to be a guy in Monroe with a wingless RR but I think I saw his car at a dealer up here about a month ago. You might be able to work with the dealer as I'm sure they'd rather sell it with the wing.
