Dick's got nothing on In-N-Out .
But they do provide work for local Kids, so I can't knock'em to much.
I still have not checked out the underground tour thing. I hear thats cool if your into history.
Alki beach is pretty nice place to hang out, not sure what the weather will be like thought in mid Oct.

If we dont have any information then we will just tell you to hang out with Lancer stud and see what pops up.

I don't know a whole lot about shopping but I will recommend the following:
Get out of Seattle (atleast a half hour) to see the mountains. Amazing scenery with temperate rain forests. An hour hike, 45 mins east of Seattle will be more breathtaking than 95% of the rest of the US.
Obviously Pikes place market. Plenty of shopping and things to do. Check out the Piers (waterfront) and head west 5 blocks from Pikes to check out the rest of downtown. More than enough stores to go broke in.
There are a ton of neighborhoods that will give you any type of scene you're looking to get into. Hipster, Prep, Gay, College, Clubbing there's a neighborhood for all. Definitely some great night scenes if you're trying to get your drink on.
Check out Alki beach. Our little version of California. On a nice weekend day there will be plenty of people and nice cars.
Also, there is a TON of good music. Local and national acts with a bucnh of great venues:
The Crocodile
Nectar Lounge
The Market
Neumos
Chop Suey
The Majestic
Paramount
