New to WA, from HI
Not sure if this is the right section to introduce myself but just moved here from Hawaii.
Sold my 08 M3 yesterday and picked up a 2006 Evo IX and really happy with it.
Some of my previous rides are a 1991 Mustang Notch LX with a built 306 and a 67mm single turbo, a 2004 Kenne Bell 2.2 Cobra making 668rwhp and a 1998 Trans Am WS6 with boltons and Nitrous.
Im stationed at JBLM and live in Puyallup, look forward to meeting some of you guys and hope to get alot of info on these cars.
Just thing Id like to do is JDM rear bumper, coil overs, different wheels, AMS Intercooler and remove the wing.
Later mods with be bigger turbo +support mods on a E85 tune.
currently from what I can tell it has Greddy Exhaust, Turbo Timer, Some kind of Intercooler piping that goes into the intake manifold thats by Greddy.

So do you guys meet up often? I see a mustang/GTO group that meets up at the Sonic in Puyallup on Friday nights sometimes. Wasnt sure if you Evo guys meet up often or not lately due to weather and cold and all that.

Welcome, I was actually considering going to the bank to see if I could afford your M3. I've been considering picking up one to use day to day, then keep the Evo as a weekend project. How did you like it?

Loved it, did really well in the rain. turned heads alot too, I had a guy in a STI actually reverse his car at a light to tell me how badass my ride was. The DCT transmission was a dream, shifted so smooth and the car sounded exotic. Sad to have gotten rid of it but Ill get another one day, the Evo just seemed more of a better all around Daily Driver for me. The only downside to the M3 was it got really bad gas mileage. The tranmission gearing is set so close that in 7th gear your sitting at around 3500rpm @65mph. I think city I was getting 10mpg and highway maybe 17.
