Photo meet?

I'm starting to get tired of taking pictures of just my car.. I was wondering if there were any other people who like taking photos that would want to meet up for a shoot. I know of a few cool places to take shots around Seattle if people are around.

Here is a place I found yesterday.

Beautiful, beautiful shot! I'm definitely in for a photo shoot. I'll bring my Nikon. We should get Tony involved too. I know he'd be interested.

So was this an HDR shot? If so, what kind of bracketing did you use? I did notice on your website you have some beautiful HDR shots and am curious what software you use. I've had mixed luck with lightroom and photomatrix.

Thanks everyone glad you like the shot. I would easily be down for some weekend shots. I think that would work best since work will interfere with daylight for shooting. What days work best for everyone? I know I don't want to miss any of the Hawks games though so Saturdays would be ideal.

Yeah this is an HDR. For most of my HDR shots I take 5 pictures all at a stop apart. I am still learning how to use HDR effectively though. Some of mine are a little over done now that I go back and look at them... But I use that same combo of photomatix pro and then dumping it into lightroom for some more tweeks. Do you have any examples of your own?

You sir have an Eye for art I wish I was only as tallented. Anthony Kim (kimsan808) I think is his username is into shoting. My roomate has a nice dslr camera I could probably borrow and learn a thing or two from some profesionals. So yeah I'd be down!

I wont be in town from the 20th to the 2nd though so if you do meet we should make it for Jan and hopefully we'll have some fluffy white stuff to play in.

Unfortunately my D7000 has only 3 shot bracketing. So I combine them together with (3) -4/-3/-2 & -1/0/+1 & +2/+3/+4 stops. It doesn't work so well with anything dynamic but static pictures it's pretty decent. And you're right about it being way to easy to overdue it.

I only have one example. 5th post down on the page:

I've been trying to do an HDR timelapse but it's tricky:
