Does it just thread into the stock Evo base or is there some modding to do for it to fit?

When you have the vortex generator as in the case of my customer, the antenna fits absolutely perfect. But even without the generator, the gap is so minimal that it's not an issue at all

Will it fit the Ralliart? If so i may be interested... btw is it anywhere near the length of the regular EVO/ralliart antenna?

If you leave it stock, then it will have about a 1/8 inch gap. i therefore used a dremel w/ diamond cutof wheel to trim 1/8 inch off of screw that goes into evo base - now i have a perfect fit.
note: if you use the dremel w/ cutoff wheel, i suggest you put something to protect antenna from any scuffing- 2 layers of clear duct tape worked for me. i just made a tiny little hole in the middle so the screw can go through.
