Testing the "EVO For Sale" Waters
I am kicking around selling my 2003 Blue By You Evo 8. ( We are looking to buy a bigger house, and unfortunately the car needs to to go, even though I'll probably cry like a ***** when I hand the keys over, but tough decisions always have to be made). Anyways, I'm looking to get a feel for what the market in my area will pay for this car.
Car is located in Baltimore Maryland zip code 21234.
2003 Blue By You Evolution 8 with less then 8,000 miles.
Car has never been tracked, raced, or even seen red line.
The car has no mods except for an after market boost gauge and a turbo timer.
Oil change every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic at Mitsubishi.
Paint is in perfect condition.
Hand washed and waxed at least twice a month.
Kelly Blue book says that if I trade it in a dealer should give me $24,500.00
Kelly blue book also says that a private sale should get me $27,400.00 (which I find a little hard to believe, but maybe there is a demand, I don't know).
Any input would be appreciated.
If I do sell the car, I would definelty buy another EVO down the road.

i had debated the issue myself a couple of times here and there. I Could save myself some money and get rid of the car and yada yada but there is just no way i would feel right parting with my evo unless it was for an 05 electric blue
