FS Feeler: 2002 Subaru WRX silver 5spd cheap
http://public.fotki.com/evodave/silver_wrx/
Hey guys....i am thinking of selling my 2002 subaru wrx 5spd (with factory alarm/security, 200w stereo with subwoofer under seat, armrest extension and spoiler options) . Its silver and in near new condtion inside and out (driver side floor mat is dirty) . The car is stock (besides a k+n) and was one owner until i got it recently.
Has always had mobil 1 synthetic oil every 4,000 miles. Drives, shifts ,pulls and handles better than my wrx i had with 20,000 miles. The car was driven all highway and has 125,300 miles on it. If you guys know about all highway mileage cars you know that if the car has 125k it is like it has about 1/4 of that (30,000) with how it drives and stuff. It recently has had its 90,000 and 105,000 mile service which is ALL fluides in all diffs and transmition and all belts including timing belt.
So its ready to go (even has new tires and battery). It has NEVER had any paint work either. Let me know ... i checked on www.nada.com and stuff...they show average trade in to be around $13,450 and average retail to be around $15,800 if i remember right (yes that is with that many miles). BTW... it is still running the stock original clutch which is perfect.
I am looking to get around $12000 OBO....again that is lower than the trade in value i found on some of the sites when i put in mileage and options....let me know if anyone is interested....i don't really think i can afford two performance sedans ....so i gotta maybe get something cheaper to go with the evo...
Thanks and i will get pics up if there is geniune interest. Test drives are more than welcome if your serious. I am also possibly open to partial trades

I am interested, but it seems kind of high...I sold my 02 wrx 2 years ago for 17k and it had 27k miles. Another 2 years and 100k miles more, I think Id be willing to make an offer. Please let me know where you are located exactly, I would need some shipping info to az.

Well i looked on www.nada.com and it said well over $12,000 for trade in and over $15000 retail even with those miles. I looked on a internet auction for dealers website that shows actually what cars go for and the lowest (besides salvage title and wrecked ones) was $12600 with 89,000 miles and who knows the quality of that car and if it was maintained. This one is very nice and just had all main. done.

12,000 for that car imo is a good price, wrx's have a high retail value, and It's a subaru, almost as good as a honda, that thing will run forever. The first thing to go on that thing would be the clutch, since it's original, but the engine will still be kicking, and even then a motor swap, won't cost you as much as buying another wrx, with 30,000 miles, I'd take this up if I had the money, but someone should cause this is a good steal..

thats what i thought....even a new motor rebuild would be at most $1000-$1500 for everything fixed and replaced (not that it needs it as it runs , drives, boosts, shifts like brand new)
