FS: 03 Black Evo 8 : Southern California : FS or Take over payments
Probably the most depressing thing for me right now, but I have no choice.
For Sale:
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8
Almost 15,000 miles on the odometer.
Tarmac Black - No Sunroof
Great condition - Maintained completely by me
Oil changed with 10w30 synthetic, and new mitsu oil filter every 2500 miles
Tranny Fluid changed at 4200 miles
about 5000 miles on the Falken Azenis
Dealer installed options: Boost/Oil Pressure/Voltmeter cluster. Installed where CD player was, cd player moved to lower din panel.
Includes:
JDM Evo 7 tail lights (all red)
-will include stock taillights with the sale
Ralliart Shift knob
Greddy Turbo Timer (not installed)
The rims have been sprayed black.
Modifications:
Buschur Intake Filter
-will include stock Air Filter/Box assebly with sale
Buschur Downpipe
Buschur 3" Cat
Buschur 3" Exhaust
-will include Stock turbo back exhaust with the sale (including muffler/stock cat)
Greddy Profec B Spec I (the good one)
Ferodo 2500 brake pads (front)
Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Falken Azenis Sport 245/45ZR/17R Z-Rated tires
Stock clutch, with 0 problems.
Transmission is not noisy, does not grind any gears.
Mechanicaly the car is flawless.
The paint is in good condition, with a few scratches. Not flawless though.
Reason for selling? Can no longer afford it. I love this car to death. And since last year when I purchased it, have done nothing but live and breathe this car.
But sadly I'm going back to school soon, and just can't do the payments/insurance thing anymore. But I'm CERTAIN, as soon as I'm in a better financial position, I will indeed buy another one. Maybe the Evo X... hehe.
Conditions & Price:
The "cash" price is: $25,000 obo
Or, if desired, you can choose to refinance the car in your name, and simply take over payments.
With my 4.75% APR I currently owe $24900 +/- 100....
I put down a $5400 cash, downpayment.
And have been paying $484/month
I purchased the Car on December 6th, 2003
If seriously interested, I can give full details on refinancing the car. I'm just giving you an estimate.
I simply want to have either enough money to pay off the car, or have someone refinance in there name. There is nothing more depressing than selling a car, and still having to make payments on it.
Please e-mail me @ FIVEXZERO@AOL.COM or instant message me on AIM, fivexzero . You can PM me here, but chances are I will not get it nearly as quickly.
These are pictures of the car, the day I purchased it...
Please give it a good home!

thanks i took a lot of pictures today, and will hopefulyl have them up by tonight.
the offer of "taking over payments" is good until the end of august...
since every month i'm losing out on 484. :P
i'm also considering partial trades, for a daily driver... really cheap daily driver, 2-3k range(can't wait to see what that gets me. :P ). preferably AC, but not cirtical, seeing as i hardly used the ac in the evo anyways... just got used to bring an additional shirt. lol...
