Check out the $15k Evo

This doesn't make any sense,he opened the account today so it looks like a scam, but he says you don't have to pay till you pick it up. You think it's stolen?

Uuuuum.. no I don't believe it. I was just trying to figure out his scam angle since he doesn't require a wire transfer and it says $5k is due after you receive the car. The key word here is AFTER. Therefore you don't pay anything until you see the car. I'm thinking stolen car....

Yep!!! I am sure you're right. I was going to buy a WRX and the guy said to do this so I called Western Union and they said it is a growing scam and not to send a dime.

Haha... I've seen too many scams on Ebay. This is just another one of them. Go ahead and contact the guy... he'll tell you that he wants some kind of deposit up front.

What a coicident but with about 20 seconds of research I found that this is the same car that was in this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6355

Watch and see that the auction will be get deleted by Ebay.

Scam artists like to prey on greedy people who think they are getting a good deal.

The only way to find out is go to his home address and buy the car in person. If he disagree, it's a scam.

I don't know because this is what makes it impossible to scam you.

Only deposits can be taken by credit card unless arranged beforehand.
We can provide financing. Email me for shipping rates.

No scammer takes cresit cards because if they don't deliver in the condition stated, you can do a chargeback and they will lose ALL the money plus chargeback fees ?!?!

It's a scam. As has already been posted, it is the exact same car (same VIN too) as the auction here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6355

Just to be a dick I reported it to eBay (hey, I was bored) so it will go down soon.

Okay, you have the carfax information but I still don't believe it. The car is in Mitsubishi dealer, not yours. If you could show me a picture of the VIN number from the window (front of the steering wheel), then I will believe you. AND a picture of yourself setting on the car. Also, a clear picture of the odometer because the odomoter picture that you have provided is not clear and I couldn't read the mileage number. Last thing, full scan copy of the invoice or msrp paper. The whole thing, because you only showed me the price number.

I don't know though. He has too many positive feedbacks from reputable ebayers with 100-400 feedback scores.

Has been a member for a while now. This one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6355 ended in July so maybe the buyer did not pay so he is relisting it but that doesn't explain the new account selling it rather than the old one with good feedback ??????

Continuation

No man i think you want the photo not the car,The car is at the shipping company as I had a possible buyer for it but he changed his mind in the last minute due to some family problems, I can't take the pictures you requested because for that I will have to go at the shipping company.
But i think i will search another buyer, thanks.

It's okay as you long could show me a 100% proof that the car is yours. What about a picture of the VIN number and a full scan copy of the MSRP paper? That's easy to do if you really own the car. Understand, I'm interested on buying your car BUT of course I need to make sure that this isn't a fake transaction.
