Brian the motor looks Awesome and rite at home Here is a couple of pics of the cdi bracket...we'll get one out to you as soon as we get them back to the powder coaters. This bracket will keep the cdi out of the way and vibration free as it will be rubber mounted.

Very nice and I will mount the 3# battery underneath. Should fit nice. If not I have a back up plan

Thanks everyone for all the positive comments. Hope it runs as good as it looks If not I just bought one of these special guages

Wow, your build is sweet! Why don't you eliminate your oil cooler like D. Buschur did on his RS?

Nice to see your project coming along. Its kinda cool seeing others recognize our great combination of parts. Aside from the weight and afew other parts, this is going to be almost an exact clone of our car! Nice Job Brian!

Thanks, Emulation is a form of flattery you know LOL... There are some subtle differences on the drivetrain though, but overall the cars are like twins. My concern is being able to duplicate the HP of yours. The biggest diferences will be the custom forward facing turbo, exhaust/02 housing, and intake/TB. As for weight, I'm guessing I'm only about 150# lighter. Hopefully she runs well...

As you know...If it were easy everyone would be doing it. However, that being said, I do think you will be running mid 9's with your setup. Your car should be a beast aswell.

definitely. As soon as it comes off the dyno it goes to the track. I am hoping to be running by end of next week on the stock turbo.
