IX RS Build

Yeah, I actually have very little patience:0 But I need to respect Mike's business. He has done alot for me and has set too much time aside as it is. I figure good things come to those who wait We are methodically preparing this car to beat all records, so I need to try to be patient. As time passes we continually find things that need to be addressed.

Is this why your dad called me today and wanted to update the stock, white, green, and red turbos and the exhaust manifold? Is sounds like the boys from OK are back in town.

It has been said... To take a picture is the first step to climbing a mountain. Climbing it is what seperates you from the rest of the masses. Brian, it will be a steep learning curve, be prepared for the unexpected as just when you think you have it figured out ...BAM reality hits you in the face. Arriving at the summit is just the beginning as you will always find another to climb as you well know after earning the stock turbo record. Good Luck with your quest. Indy

I haven't posted in this thread, maybe once, out of respect to "Let you have your time and your build". But, RESPECT is RESPECT. But you've made the following statements that not only disrespect our accomplishments, but also those of the PR crews. Brian, I did my best to help you early in your racing. Remember your early PM's LONG BEFORE your current build. I shared my information with you in every respect, then you've absolutely copied our car (flattery) and then went to all of our sponsors looking for the "SAME THING THAT 9sec9 HAS". That's also flattery, but to be disrespectful under the disguise of 'friendly competition' is being a stretch. I even recently, as of yesterday, made the offer of helping with your setup/tune. I retract that offer. You obviously don't need it, since you're going to break all records. We've been there, done that, set the worlds fastest times and mph, on more than one occassion. We even set the mph record on 10 straight passes. The PR crew worked their butts off and lead the way for the rest of us. That was 'friendly competition' but tough. Nothing was disrespectful between us and the PR guys. Your comments need to be tempered. If you think we did our ULTIMATE and BEST we could EVER do, you don't know me very well. I hope you make your goals, but you don't need to step on the backs and shoulders of others just to elevate your recognition. Your car has nothing that over ours, as a matter of fact, with all the talk, it still hasn't run a mid 10, much less a mid 9. Break your records, but I think the term 'us being competition for you' is a bit skewed. We hold the record, we deserve a little more respect. The PR teams held the record, they deserve a little more respect. When your car breaks the record, or at least 'competes' at the same level, it will earn the record on it's own. I think call our world record holding car a "PIG" is a bit disrespectful. ANYONE can take a plasma cutter to a car, weld a few braces and call it the same class as a street legal car. But is it really? That's why NHRA, NASCAR, INDY RACING LEAGUE all have weight limitations. Gutting a car and hollering "Look at me, Look at what I'm GOING TO DO" isn't quite the same as being there, doing it, and earning the respect. We all have the 'nut swingers', but in the end, it's up to us as individuals to get the job done. No disrespect to you or your build, after all, it's nearly a carbon copy of our car, just cut up and lightened. You could easily earn respect on your own, without trying to put others down. Now, go get the record and you'll earn the respect AFTER you've done it, not BEFORE you've done it. I think we've proven that we're ALWAYS up for the task, now, are you?

it seems like the word record breaker has been thrown around very loosely in this thread...
9sec9 and his team put dedication into it and i think there here to stay alot longer than others
I wanna see this car hit the track and see what its really made of

I thought MostWanted was being pretty respectful. This guy Q@EPM was constantly saying this and that record will fall which I thought was in poor taste.
What exactly did MostWanted do? Call the OKIX car a pig? I'm not sure if that is insulting because actually anyone with a half a brain realizes it is a compliment because it means you are making a lot of power to move that weight. 9sec9 has posted several times how the PR car is lighter then they are.

I think this whole thing is childish I don't even know if i want to look at any of these forums anymore. 9sec9 grow up its a damn car move on with your life! if most-wanted is gonna break a record he is gonna break one thats what they are made to do be broken, evey single day something new comes out that is probably going to be better then the last guy. I think everyone just needs to chill out with comments and all the BS and just build a car and run what you run. You aren't that young and to be foolishly trying to pick fights and start drama because someone says they are going to break your records, I am not sure you should be in this sport anymore because its people like you and some of the others that make me not want to be a part of this any longer, so I dont know if this will get deleted but I just want to say to everyone SHUT UP and just do your own damn thing and post your numbers and if it breaks the record of the last guy I hope that gets broken too!-JOEYD
