Now we are getting somewhere Car is almost finished once again Should start tomorrow and maybe dyno on Sunday. Need Crispeed to come visit and show her some love Car lost some more weight too. I am hoping to be able to run the car next Wednesday on the stock turbo. Then do a quick swap for the RED and run again within a few days. Then I will start testing different parts to see what gains we are making with each part... Got lots of great goodies to play with...

That Cooper S is freaking sweet!

Just kidding ... but, I think you've got the wrong exhaust manifold on there ...

crcain-thanks. I've tried to keep it reasonable in appearance. I wanted and need all the safety gear so I obviously had to make some sacrifices. No way I am loading up the car and driving to the track for a one wonder pass. Our local track gives one run and you are done if you don't comply. They wont even let you return another night. So, it has everything needed.

Touringbubble-exhaust mani and all the other goodies will be on next week. Just want to get it up and running. I will be doing the stock turbo runs on the ported Buschur exhaust mani, ported Buschur intake mani, and 65mm TB.

Your car is a total race car now, and looks very clean. But since it's a race car why leave the carpet, door panels, and headliner in place? It seems pointless and leaves maybe 30 lbs in place.

Because I like the clean look. The car is one of the lightest evo's out there so I'm not stressing 30#. If I run a tenth slower than the records and I need that extra push, then maybe. But for now it will stay as is. I may be doing Robi spec carbon doors. Doing just the rears reduce weight by 90#. But it is a $$$ thing right now. Kind of want to see what the car will do as is. Doors are completely stock with crash beams, etc.
