looking mean dude
perhaps could of carpeted the rest of the rear floor/rear seat area and flocked the rear fire wall. very very little weight and would look just finished enough imo.
i did another car like this i'll find a pic.

Very nice. That's how you build a nice lightweight EVO right there. It definetely doesn't have to look like a complete POS to make it light. I love it. Just missing some sponsor decals.

Looking forward to the dyno results and track times.

Thanks David. Yes sir, hopefully dyno time tomorrow and track time on Wednesday Stickers will be put on tomorrow

Well we just got it off the dyno and on stock turbo it made 468whp/492tq.. I am pretty sure its going to FLY tomorrow evening at the track.. Ill post the dyno sheet and video shortly..

That is a lot of power on the stock turbo, no doubt. Dyno numbers, completed. Now for the good part, some track times!! Good luck.

This is a very nice thread with all the photos and info about the car.

But, now it is not 100% street legal. It has a full cage, small brake, and the list keeps going. you can not call this a street can this is now a RACE CAR!

and to the 400hp at 20psi yes good power i made that way back in the day on stock evo9 turbo with a lot less parts. and the tune was on 93 pump with very easy easy turn for my every day driving.

Not bash or anything but i thought people love to see full built street cars not full race cars. since you can only do one thing with this car now which is race on the 1/4 track.

Well best of luck to you for the 2009 year, hope to see you on the top of the list for which ever turbo you go with. since it is now a full race car.

People love to see CLEAN fast cars not chopped up tin cans held together by zip tries. This is what Brian chose to build and what he wanted..

btw.. small brakes and a roll cage dont make a car illegal to drive on the street.. LOL

Yes its a race car, nobody is claiming this to be a full weight daily driver.. its still very clean and tasteful for a race car..

Yes not disagreeing with it clean and all. but a 8.50 cage for the street is a little crazy!! no back seats. and small brakes make it hard to drive on street. deff not safe. and there is no front end of the car how can you have the street legal. LOL and little fuel cell! come on!

i dont know i like it yes clean nice well put together. but, it is no where near a street car now!

o well the fast street cars are going away and i guess new ones will come in.

So a street car can't be a race car? You can't call one car both of those?

I wouldn't exactly call that an easy tune for daily driving either. That's pushing the hell out of an evo 9 turbo.

400hp @ 20psi is great. 468whp is waaaay better. Did you run 10's?
