I wouldn't exactly call that an easy tune for daily driving either. That's pushing the hell out of an evo 9 turbo.

400hp @ 20psi is great. 468whp is waaaay better. Did you run 10's?
LOL yes you can call a race car a street car with some minor means of safty.

and 400hp at 20psi not pushing it at all LOL. also note the tune was easy very easy was my pump gas map low boost for just driving around and enjoying the car. kill mode is a diff story.

and yes i did go 10s on pump gas thank you very much.

But, now it is not 100% street legal. It has a full cage, small brake, and the list keeps going. you can not call this a street can this is now a RACE CAR!

and to the 400hp at 20psi yes good power i made that way back in the day on stock evo9 turbo with a lot less parts. and the tune was on 93 pump with very easy easy turn for my every day driving.

Not bash or anything but i thought people love to see full built street cars not full race cars. since you can only do one thing with this car now which is race on the 1/4 track.

Well best of luck to you for the 2009 year, hope to see you on the top of the list for which ever turbo you go with. since it is now a full race car.
Are you kidding, coming from someone with one of the most hacked up evo's....
You should just keep your comments to yourself.
Anyone can change dyno calibrations to make your claimed "numbers"
Most know that a 16g at 20psi won't hit 400whp without quite a bit of work done.

btw.. small brakes and a roll cage dont make a car illegal to drive on the street.. LOL

Yes its a race car, nobody is claiming this to be a full weight daily driver.. its still very clean and tasteful for a race car..
He uses duct tape not zip ties

Can't wait to see what this beast runs on the track tonight, Good luck!!

LOL your a joke dude, my car is 100% diff after coming back from the Army. my car had full interior, all the stuff back in it. clean and nice once again. and there are no zip ties or duck tape used on my car. all original glass. stock brakes, suspension, drive line, wheels, door, truck, hood, roof, rear SEATS! lol

before you make comments to me about my car you should do your research a little bit better before hand.

Having seen this car personally I can say it definitely is not a hacked up tin can.

It is what I would consider VERY TASTEFULLY built

i dont know i like it yes clean nice well put together. but, it is no where near a street car now!

o well the fast street cars are going away and i guess new ones will come in.

again best of luck hope to see you do well this year.
Ok maybe i can explain this so you understand.. an 8.50 cage is the same as a 9.99 cage in case you didnt know.. Its not a funny car cage bro, its a 10pt.. a 6pt does nothing for you..

no back seats make it hard to drive on the street?? WOW dude you are out to lunch, sorry..

Lighter the better in my opinion.

Things like engine vibration, loud exhausts, tiny carbon clutches, etc is what makes a street car feel like a race car. And most regulars to this forum have all that already!

Taking some weight out and making the car easier to work on are good things.
