No offense man but i think you are missing the whole reason for his build.

All this is done to satisfy the rules and regs at the NHRA sanctioned tracks and events Brian would like to run in.

Just like said before it wasn't built to make 1 or 2 glory passes

there is nothing wrong with his build again i said was a nice built but i always thought he would stay with the street monster setup and keep going. and yes taking weight out and keeping it nice is always a nice way to go.

and the race class he will be in with his car will not be fast enough with a fp red, or stock turbo.

Not to clutter this up anymore but i never said he was trying to be an all out points champion of a particular class nor an event winner at all.

However for the records Brian would like to set this would be the only way to do so safely and w/in rules set forth by the race track(s)

Impressive ET's and MPH already....one record down.....good luck breaking more Brian!

Really Mike... What class is that your speaking of?? Since there is no sanctioned racing now.. I guess a 6262 turbo and 800hp is out of the question too.. you really are out to lunch with your statements..

I'm back Sorry it took so long, but it has been a busy few days. The Curt Brown record of 10.59@127 stock turbo record has been broken by the RS. As stated above it went 10.21@131 with a 1.39 60' More to come as I get pics organized.

Side track for a moment because this is brought up alot. With no disrespect I could care less about a street car. To me a street car is a Mercedes Benz E63(which ran a 12.90 bone stock btw). I have been arrested twice for street racing while not street racing and driving a 14 sec daily driver in my town. The cops hate anything import and you will be abused if caught on the street with one. I purposely made this car so I wouldn't want to drive it around town. It is a legitmitate 8.50 set up and I can run all day, any day, without hassle. No one pass wonders for me. I also already did a bolt on car that went 11.50's. That car was completely a street car. As soon as you make mods you might as well go crazy.

I can't thank everyone enough for the support. It could never of been done without all the help. David Buschur took money out of his own pocket to help me out with a problem. His support, friendship, and professionalism is bar none.... he built me a motor that never skipped a beat. We did not make one change to the car all night other than the speed tape to hold the windshield in place after it blew out and tire pressure LOL... Thanks Greg Anderson for the tape And to everyone who supplied parts like the 02 dump, sparktech ignition, etc.- THANK YOU. I was confident in my selection and it proved itself last night. We are now installing the RED. We are going to work through a series of tests. May sneak off to the track on Wednesday depending on what we find out on the dyno Mon/Tue...

As was stated earlier, thedyno session was brief. we did not squeeze tha car at all. There is plenty left in it and I am confident the car can run a 9 sec pass on the stock turbo. The tune from Crispeed is awesome. Car idles and purrs like a kitten. OK, maybe an angry kitten The car ran very consistent with 6 passes and four being 10.20's. The track air temp was 36 and track surface temp was 56. It is very hard to be consistent as traction was suffering.

Thank you Crispeed for tuning the car.
