IX RS Build

Yes we do and have made many successfull manifolds. It was just an oversight that the flanges did not get surfaced properly. Sadly things like this happen when you turn over parts to others and it is outside of your hands. We will make it right and get the manifold up and running.

Well I have made lots more O2 Dumps than I have made Manifolds...lol... Around 300 - O2 Dumps powering up Evos all around the world, hopefully one day I can make that many Turbo Manis for Evos....but seriously....Now; that in the next few weeks I'll be on my own, running EPM, I can focus my attention to this street manifold that I have had to put on the back burner. It has been a crazy month for me, finding out that I no longer have a job at No Limit since everyone got laid-off, and then trying to get Brian's car finished while at the same time getting my own shop built and my equipment ordered. The EPM O2 Dump sales were awesome, selling almost 50 units in the last few weeks which added to my workload, trying to get these made and shipped out before my last day at No Limit. It's apparent that the surfacing of Brian's manifold did not get done properly in the last 2 weeks of utter confusion. EPM at least mentions our set backs whether it be a bad surfacing of flanges, etc. This issue with MostWanted does bother me badly, but things happen especially when having to reply on outsourcing of some things. I'd luv to have a milling machine to ensure that all of the flanges for the manifold were perfectly flat and smooth. Unfortunately I need to make a better call about how/who does the surfacing from now on. Maybe Walker you can give me a heads up on who you use for your machining work. Obviously it didnt get done properly or we would'nt be having this problem. My time was very limited since the EPM O2 Dump was selling so well, I just didn't have the time to focus on making turbo manifolds like I had wanted. Now that I am in sole ownership of EPM, I will focus more-so on making the parts that I have wanted to do but didnt have the time. EPM is here to stay, only time will tell but I will do my best to produce the best parts for your Evo.

Well said. Guys these things happen. A good friend told me the other day that perfection doesnt happen overnight. It is the constant hard work and making mistakes that creates great new parts. Q has alot on his plate right now and I am very thankful to have him as a friend. He is the nicest most honest guy you could ever know. My main concern is for him to get back on his feet and provide the community with great parts.

Thank you Ron@Shearer & David@ Buschur Racing
OK guys, here is the latest. I need to make an announcement. It is with great pleasure that I have added Shearer manifolds to my sponsor list. I also have to give special thanks to David Buschur and Shearer manifolds. When they found out I ran into some difficulties getting the car back together they were quick to step up and help out. Very cool in my book. Together they have compiled an awesome forward facing kit that is on its way to Mikes shop. So thank you very much David and Ron. They know I am anxious to get the car back to the track and were willing to take time out of there busy schedule and expedite a kit to me. There is no doubt the mani and kit will perform. Their track records have proven themselves over and over and I am glad to be a part of it. Dyno numbers and track times soon to follow. I will take pics as soon as everything arrives.
And once I knew I had a resolution to my problem I took the weekend off and was able to relax I went to the D1 event in Georgia. What a blast...

I will test it at a later date, probably on another car. There was alot of hard work put into the mani and I dont want it to go to waste. I believe it is fixable, but it will require a going over and some time. But due to some recent news I have to do whats best for me right now and I dont have the leisure of time. I have to get the car back to the track and take some time off. There will be no questions as to whether the Shearer mani will work. It is absolutely a bolt on and go piece. I have spent way too much time lately trying to reinvent the wheel and I need to get back on track-literally. I have invested alot of time and money and have had little to no results lately...

Glad that myself and Shearer can be of help. So everyone is clear, although I sponsor the car and have a lot of our parts on the car, I did not have any problem with Brian working with EPM. I don't want anyone to think I was prying my way in or anything. I am glad to help and get the car back on the track. This car is going 8's and I can't wait to see it happen.

Is this the new forward facing kit to be used on Brian's Evo?
