For anyone looking into the forward facing kit, it is a work of art and very complete. I'll take detailed pics once its on the car in a few days...

 

Will you have manifold by the weekend? BTW, seeing as you're selling the SS and sold your trailer, what's the plan to get the car to the track now?

I've got people J/K. My best friend has a truck and trailer. The deal is he gets to drive my Benz while I borrow the truck and trailer. Fair deal I think I may keep the truck for now and just get rid of the mini. Trailer has already been sold. I just know I have substantial bills coming and like being on top. I know enough people I can get the car to the track. If I need to I can drive it there anyways. Car is registered and insured Its even on stocks as we speak. Throw some slicks in the back and to the track we go...

 

I just thought maybe you were upgrading to a semi with an enclosed trailer or something.

Fo real I wish. I am thinking of going enclosed though. Open trailers just destroy the front of the car. My friend and I are looking at some pretty decent trailers. 28' with A/C, generators, cabinets, etc. It would be nice to have nice stuff at half the cost. We'll see. Most important thing is to get Lana running again and get her back to the track. I am hoping for Friday but I am guessing it will be next week. Either way, things are progressing and its almost time to race again Down time sux and now its 100 degrees here with 100 percent humidity But we'll see what we can manage. Thanks for the

 

Looking forward to seeing some new passes. Have you indulged in any bench racing and made some guesses at potential mph and et? You're going with HTA86 correct? Do you think there will be a next step to a bigger turbo?

 

yes, its a Forced performance HTA3586. I am hoping for 800whp. But am confident in 750. Math says 8.70-8.80's@ high 150's, but getting a good pass will probably be a little more difficult then with the red/stock. We'll see what happens. I'm thinking it will be a whole new animal now...

 

and oh yeah, bigger turbo will be next. I wont be happy until the car makes 1300 and is RWD

Why??? Gotta have long term goals. Not sure how many rear diffs and T/C's I can break before I get upset Trust me, it is way long term. I have a baby on the way and thats obviously a priority. I have no intentions at this time. My goal for now is to run some 8 sec passes and maybe go after AMS's 8.42 depending on how the car feels and if I think it is a reasonable goal.
