I have this on my Evo and it works like a charm. I don't have to look at the gauges at all...just mash on the gas, keep focused of what lies ahead, and listen for the beeps.

LOL. Your not going to be able to hear that in his car.

Shift lights aren't that big anymore and in this case would be very functional.

And I am using a shift light not a 5" guage with light. It is a necessity at this point. Everything happens so fast there is no looking or focusing at anything
