Please don't take this for more than it is worth..because I am by no means talking crap. When you say "Standard Trans" I think of the OEM configuration. Brian has the Shep tranny and TC. Call it a play on words...I just want to make sure I understand everybody's references.

Standard meaning NOT A DOGBOX.. Shep builds a nice box but with the abuse this one has seen it might as well be a bone stock trans.. There is no 8500+ rpm shifting going on with the trans thats in there.. This trans has seen tons of stock turbo passes, FP Red passes and now HTA passes.. It needs a rebuild..

Thanks for that clarification! If somebody is considering a "major" tranny upgrade for their Evo, why not something like a TH-400? I don't know a lot about dog boxes, but I know that TH-400s are used by most of the "big" boys in the drag racing scene because they are nearly bulletproof (especially when combined with a Ford 9").

Mike/Brian have you thought about swapping the HTA3586 with PT6262 and run it in 1/4mile again just to compare???
Nothing personal from FP or BR just purely experiment purpose.

No, because the car is 100% sponsored by FP. They send the turbos and I show what they are capable of on the dyno and at the track. I have no intention of swapping turbo maufacturers because I am so happy with the Forced Performance products. I am also paying for all the tunes, installs, etc. So I couldn't afford to just experiment even if I wanted to.

Next outing will be at the NSCRA event July 4th???

Thanks for all the compliments guys... This has been a dream come true. Never thought I'd be driving an 8-9 second evo....
