Yeah Im new to them also. It is a 2004 GT3 with 11K miles. I got a killer deal so I couldnt pass it up. It has about $18K in upgrades from roll cage to data aquisistion. Not too mention it has full CUP CAR running gear underneath. Suppose to be wicked on the track. We'll see soon enough. Its being weighed, corner balanced and set up for me right now. Should have it in about 2 weeks. I was going to buy a newer Z06 but my friend has persuaded me to try this. I was buying either for track days so this is the more logical buy. I couldnt justify a newer 997 and supposedly this car will far out do a 997. I would need to buy a 997 GT3 RS to better it and I cant justify 100K for a track car. I need to get the camera's set up and I'll post some vids and pics once she is in my possession. If anyone is local to me and wants to join in on some track days let me know. I am planning on doing a bunch of them. Ive been dormant way too long

Well Ive been around the block and now find myself looking at evo's once again. GT3 deal fell through, Z06 was ok, CTSV was fast but couldnt handle the heat LOL...

Tow vehicle is bought thanks to David Buschurs recommendation Loving this truck. Just talking with some people about possible ideas for a new build. If I do one it will be strictly a road racing car. If its street legal I will take it out occasionally. Just need to add an evo to the pic If anyone has any leads on a clean cheap IX let me know...

Lol... Even when I say it I laugh. "another Evo". But I have always been true and have always said its hard to beat an Evo for the $$$. The Caddy was raw. I have go pro vids of me running with all the cars for te most part. Obviously gt3's were trouble but I ran some great laps. But I warped all 4 rotors and the rear diff light said "MW rear diff hot, reduce speed" lol. Ok it says "diff hot, reduce speed". I destroyed the rear diff fluid. It smelled so bad. It boiled and went well over 300 degrees so now I find myself in a bind. I really want to do track days. I thought it would be cool to have a nice daily that could handle the occasional HPDE. The V is not that car. So I bought a tundra to tow and just need an Evo. I am considering other options but the Evo is the smartest choice. So we'll see what happens over the next few weeks.

I just read he was super happy with it. I have owned 2 toyota trucks and 1 Lexus and they were without a doubt the most trouble free vehicles. None of them ever had 1 failure. I've heard from everyone that they are awesome. I absolutely love it so far. I haven't towed with it yet but will let ya know. I liked the raptor but it I ly tows about 7K pounds where as the Tundra tows 10,500. It's all personal preference. I like the fords too. But this tundra caught my eye since it was already lifted etc and the deal was right.
