That's a lot of reading!!

Ive been driving it pretty much every day I can and have put a few hundred miles on it. I still can't get over how much the fuel map has increased. I got kinda spirited with it getting on the interstate Saturday night and this thing feels pretty wicked. I also noticed its getting about 10mpg , but there hasn't been a day yet that has been easy on it. Not very much boost yet and not really anything over 5k rpm

Hopefully in the next few weeks I can get it tuned by someone that is more comfortable with timing maps. I just don't know enough to feel comfortable doing it completely by myself. Idle stuff seems to be great, drive ability stuff is done and the aem boost tables I have no issue with or really any other table. Just the ignition stuff Ive never picked up for some reason. Also driving around by myself is such a time consuming task.

I took the car today to get final tuned by Adam Blevins on Auto Motions Mustang dyno. I only really care about track times but figured I would share todays results. I was really pleased how the car performed and how well it worked all day. We ran the car pretty rich since cylinder 4 plug looked leaner than the other three and does at cruising or wot. I plan to have the injectors tested and see if they are causing the issue, they are brand new FIC 2150s so we will see.

First full pulls were made at 33 psi and it made 720hp and 58xtq. We turned the boost up 2 psi, hp stayed the same but tq went up to 619. Adam adding timing with no hp gain but an addition 10ft lbs of tq. Not wanting to push the car too hard we ended up removing the additional timing back to where it was when it made 720/619. This is weather corrected numbers, it was 80 degrees outside with 81% humidity. IAT were 127 during the pulls, usually cruising they stay low 100s avg.

Both uncorrected and corrected numbers show below. I forgot to snap a pic of the plot with timing back down.

The car was pulling smoothly, I think I'm pretty happy with the combination but wont know for sure until it goes down the track.

Awsome update!!! Glad to see you running and tuned, definently well deserved im sure the lean cylinder 4 is nothing major and that you will figure it out in no time... Maybe swap injector from 4 to 1 and see if the lean cylinder travells if its the injector it will move. Overall glad you caught this issue before the issue caught you!

Thanks! I really just wanted everything to work well and drive itself back onto the trailer. It didn't disappoint! I was hoping we would have a little more power on the table and carry it out a little further but it is what it is and I will see how it performs. The overall setup of the car I think works fairly well and am glad it all works together.

I thought about doing that but it was already 2am the night before the dyno. I had a spark issue I resolved and was just ready for bed. I figured we could run it pretty fat, make decent power and just keep an eye on the plugs during the runs. When it was fattened up they looked more even as far as the plugs go, so if the injectors check fine, Ill ohm out the wiring to make sure each is good and after that if its still doing it IDK. .At this point if I'm pulling one, Ill just have them all flowed to see if there is a difference. Each one is numbered so I cant mix it up lol.

I commented on FB, nice power this is my dream setup. stroker + 61/62mm.

I wish the power would continue higher in the RPMs though, oh well low end power is damn nice for a street car.

Swinging it high does nothing but wear parts faster. With the 4.11 fd it will do almost 145 in 4th gear at 8k rpm. Why rev it any higher?

edit:unless of course your trapping faster lol. I wanted a 9.9@145 so I kinda built the car around that. If it goes faster I will just run 4th out.

Definitely a very clean and well thought out build. Was a pleasure tuning on it! Keep me updated on the injector deal.
