Same situation here, too many other hobbies taking my money. To be honest I've been debating selling the evo and building a notch ls 76mm to run in a class and try and make some money with my hobby. At the moment I just have to many other things going on to start a new build so I decided to keep it for a few more years and try and enjoy racing it at the few events it's allowed to run at. It'll finally be getting caged and a little more weight removed to try and compensate the cage. Nothing crazy but after almost putting it in the wall from getting water under the slicks its either cage it to race it or let it sit.
I definitely think a cage is a smart move. Too many people are running ridiculous times without a cage these days and laugh it off.
I'm definitely going to enjoy my car for a bit, but I can't see myself keeping it that much longer. Once the C7 comes out the C6z's should drop in price a bit, making my next purchase an easy one

No more Jam this year, probably wont go any faster with the additional weight but at least it'll be legal and safer. The guys trapping high 150s with no cage are crazy. After seeing what happened to your old evo and almost putting my **** in the wall there's no question about safety for me.

yeah I just spent the last 2 hrs at work reading this, good build, great read, and it looks amazing! How are you enjoying your built motor? I'm thinking of rebuilding mine later this year, but I don't even know where to start lol, if you could do it all over again...would you still do the same thing? or would you go with something a little less agressive?
