Haha Scott likes to have some fun when he is building to the second post above we have since changed the piston to wall clearance at this point since we re-machined and decided to go with a different piston. I can update whether this is for certain and what the measurements are when I get a chance.

Looky what just showed up, JE supplied a one-off set of their brand new ASSYMETRIC PISTON designs!!

I am excited to see how they perform, plus just excited to get my car back together as well haha

Scott and the machinist mic'd the pistons versus the Manley we started with..... the JE definitely does not taper until higher in the piston where the Manley begins tapering almost towards the bottom! No wonder it was not seating the rings.

Yea I have so much stuff laying around from having two Evos the last couple years, but yea using E85 no more meth for me

Nice build... I am doing one almost identical to yours just different turbo. Just curious who did your machine work and why you decided against the oil squirters?

18x10.5 * +25 * 3 inch lip in front and 3.5 inch lip in rear*

Up and running on the new assymetric JE pistons and really happy with how everything turned out so far. Changed the oil in the first 5 minutes. New Dino oil and filter 10/30 back in there for some break in miles before we turn up the wick. Getting excited!

Can't wait to put on the new wheels
