Yeah, trust me I didn't have a choice really. I didn't have the Evo for more then 3 months when it all happened. So I had blown evo with no warranty and a 30k loan.. not like I could sell it. I was like screw spending 8-10k on a stock motor... might as well go ***** deep.

This car will be buried with me.

Thanks, evo_xtc2011

I can't wait to see what she can do when she is done...

I would say, but the people that are doing it (multiple shops) don't normally work on this sorta of thing. They primarily do race (Sebring/Rolex for Porsche, Ferrari, etc.) My best friend has been racing for years so when something goes Hiroshima.... he helps me out.

Yeah that's the plan... then Sheptrans if I can find a way to squeeze that in. I will be driving this thing back to Chicago at the end of July so that should make an interesting trip.

*Update New Parts*

-AMS Master Cylinder Upgrade
-Cusco Catch Can
-AEM Oil Temp Gauge

This is the train wreck at the moment.... The sad part is the body is all jacked up. Carbon destroyed basically and reclaimed water baked all over the car. Straight up looks like someone pissed on it. At least that can be buffed out.

I have been told that there is no chance for the carbon repair. Anyone have the slightest hope that this can be "somewhat" repaired? i.e. re-clear coated with minor flaws where sun got down to carbon and yellow tint removed? I am not looking for "perfect" just not this haha

If not, obviously I am not going to trash it all, so if anything... I'll just drive this busted *** hooptie looking X around for the time being

Sand it hard, and give a lot clear coat.
Possible more sanding and again coatings.
Repeat until it´s good.
