UPDATE!!!

Just got the new slicks on the car. Car sits a little different but still looks sick with them on. They are the M/H 24.5" slicks. Might adjust the suspension but will see how it goes. Tomorrow after work i am bringing the car to Boostin Peformance to get some last finishing touches on the car. Here's a few quick pics of the car. Will have more up this week!

Evo looks ready for business Joey

Looks a little funky w/ the smaller slicks but if it hooks up and 60's well i wouldn't mess with it unless it starts to create some uneeded drag or something at higher speeds but i doubt it.

On that note are you running some sort of aero under the car at all?

GL this weekend wish i was up and running like you are already.......

Yea the slicks change the appearance up a little bit but i am prolly going to adjust the suspension and lower it in the front so it looks more agressive. In person it doesnt look to bad at all. Cant wait for the track, almost all ready to go!

I am not running any Aero underneath the car. Just the bumper shutters and thats it. Havent touched anything in that department. Car is the same exact look wise as of last year when i went 9.13 and trapped the 163.9mph on the 67/65. Cant wait to get back out there

I thought your Evo was sweet, and then I saw the Porsche, Cadillac, and Mercedes in the driveway.

Getting ready for the track!! The Junk Box rolled in @2724 without a driver. What a fat pig!! After a night of weight reduction, we got the car down to 2681. I don't know of any Evo's even close to that weight going 8's, but we are going for it!!

Some of the stuff we removed that night: Front sway bar, Front bumper beam brackets, Powersteering cooler, some ABS wiring, ect. We plan on taking some more weight out of the car before we head to the track.

Devin

The cage i would say with the chute mount added about 120lbs. 2681 is what we came up with after we did a little weight reduction. I am going to do a little bit more before i go to the track. I'm planning on going next week/weekend. This memorial day all the local tracks are closed for events and there's no test and tune Putting a fresh set of pads on the front, a little more weight reduction, and were headed to the track. Stay Tuned!

Looks like dry carbon trunk, dry carbon hood and carbon roof are in your future.

Time to pull the dash and start carving out everything you can from there as well. :-)
