Car weighs 2675 without driver. Last year it was 2605 without driver, but my 12 point cage and chute mount added 120 pounds but i needed the safety equipment. Car is light enough to go 8s, this weekend weather looks good and should be good to go!

UPDATE!!!

Hey everyone. Well its about that time to get to the track. We are planning on making it out this weekend. The weather so far looks perfect. No rain and mostly sunny. It does look like its going to be around 88-90 degrees though, but ill take it over snow and rain

A couple days ago I just put on the Carbon Fiber Trunk lid. Thanks to Andrew @ AMS for all his help and the fast shipping Now since thats on the car, fitment it amazing and it looks great on the car. I didnt take that many pics, but i snapped one of my Iphone which isnt the best. More to come soon after the car is all cleaned up.

Last night, I dropped off the car at Boostin to get a couple things done. Things that are getting done this week before the weekend:

Fresh AEM EMS put back in the car (sent it out last week)
New AEM boost controll selonoid back in the car
Fresh Wilwood brake pads for the front
Change the oil
Go through some wiring in the car that is no longer need (all radio wiring and all that is still in the car lol)

That is pretty much it. I am going to be going by Boostin pretty much every night this week to get it ready for the track. Me and Devin are really anxious to get this car out to the track. We have no doubt that this car is going 8s. Stay tuned for updates this week and weekend!

Thanks Scott! To be honest I thought i would save more, but overall i think its around 10-15 pounds lighter. You can definetly tell the difference. I think its worth it. It is expensive but it does look good on the car. The Junk Box is so dirty right now though lol. Stay tuned for more. Pics coming tomorrow of some wiring getting done

Was at Boostin Performance last night working on the Junk Box with Devin. It was a long night but its going to pay off. We wanted to pull the dash because i had so much useless wiring in the car. I had all my radio wiring, alarm etc. It needed to be done and it looks so much cleaner now. Wasnt that big in weight savings but im glad i did it because it makes it look so much cleaner I snapped a couple pics real quick, nothing special.

Today/tonight we are changing the oil, putting the fresh brake pads on the car and the new AEM Boost controll selonoid. Then im going to give her a quick bath then its off to the track tomorrow night! We are stoked and cant wait 8s coming soon stay tuned!!!

been following for quite some time. I'm sure all of us would say that with all the hard work you've done that you deserve those 8 second time slips. we'll be cheering for ya.

Thanks man i appreciate the kind words. There is a lot of work into this car and I hope it pays off and i get that 8 second time slip. I have no doubt in my mind the car will go 8s. Im very confident but talk is cheap and i need to get out there and get it done. Ill try to update this as much as possible tomorrow
