Very, very carefully lol. There was a huge harness trimming, then a lot of rerouting of wires. It took more hours than I want to admit to make nearly NO wires visible at all in the engine bay. It's funny how many people have noticed how invisible the wiring is, even people that aren't car savvy. I plan on making it even more discrete before the DSM Shootout.

Well, it keeps getting lighter! Another 16lbs came off today. She should be hitting the dyno today for some engine break-in and to break in the clutch a bit too. The ceramic wheel bearings should arrive this week as well. By the time the shootout arrives, we may just attach a string to this thing and tow it like a kite

2000lbs is always a goal but isn't feasible right now until we can afford a lot more carbon replacement parts. Money was invested in more important areas for now. I do foresee a lot more weight reduction next season though!

Car looks sick Guys. Im jealous of the weight. I should have never done the 12 point cage and chute mount and added 125 pounds to my car but oh well lol. Cant wait to see it at the Shootout. Its going to be epic. See you all in a few weeks!

Thanks Joey! A cage is a necessity and it just makes you more creative in other areas. For instance, our taillights were 5.3lbs combined and now there are 2.0lbs Everywhere seems to have an opportunity for weight loss if you are creative.
