NEW BUILD THREAD HERE DUE TO VERY LONG THREAD Quest for 9 Second Stock Turbo

Hey guys, im Tyler im currently building my Evo 9 RS nickname Anti-Lag into a Full drag car im hoping to obtain the stock turbo record with. That is the goal at least. Some history on the car is it was previously Kunal's car (aka Kuniiizzzeee dial-in) cant thank him enough for a more prestine 9rs and all the help over the past couple months. One of my best friends as well as most influential people in putting this build together. As well as Brian and Emery at STM for all the suggestions and help into building this car. Also like to thank Adam at DynoTech for all the help and look forward to building this custom turn down.

The car is on SD.

Goals with the car is 9.99 on the stock turbo.

Also if anyone wants to see other parts run or tested, ill be willing to post results after i finish my build. Ill see if i can get my hands on them to borrow from friends or purchase. Have a couple tests i want to run as well. One being I will be doing a full tune on AEM and a full tune on the Stock ECU and comparing the differences. Also want to make a FF manifold for the turbo as well. LMK what you might like to see. like i said it wont be done till after the car is built and raced, but more than happy to try different parts and post results after i reach the record!

Honestly stock turbo is the first goal im going for. then stock block, and then fastest evo period. thats the goals for this car.

And yes stock block for now. it will be a stock block untill i get the records im after or the block lets go. After that youll have to wait and see. I have a few ideas.

Thanks i appreciate the support. and honestly the stock turbo is the starting point as id like to break into the industry one day in anyway possible. Ive been in the car industry since i was 15. this is what i love most in life besides family and friends. Im hoping to turn a dream into reality. Thanks for the support.

Good luck man! I love my stock turbo, and hope to get some better numbers from it next year. But my car is show car also so it will always have full interior.

Thanks guys i appreciate the support. Ill have more pics up tomorrow, i dont have a good camera so ull have to deal with my ****ty pics for now. Im hoping to be the first stock 9 turbo in the 9s more than anything else. Then its time for a change. Ill keep u updated! Is it going to be stock 9 turbo with no porting? Stock housing or FP Anti-Surg? Stock WGA or FP? if so 18 or 25psi? And any idea how much boost you plan to run? Thanks

Cant really tell you my boost and etc. But yes stock turbo no porting etc. Youll have to wait for the thread where i reach the goal. Im a good driver. my old evo i went 11.4 @ 116 LIFT shifting on street tires with belts showing. this one will have anti-lag on the line, NLTS, slicks all 4 corners, etc. I know it is capable of the goals. But boost will be 30+psi. ill keep u posted. pm me if you want more info.

im on the stock 8 turbo getting real nice numbers. but on a 2.4 lol. This is awesome cant wait to see what times u run.

^ ill keep you posted. Wont be ready till spring, but when it is ready it will be all out effort! I will post tuning graphs, time slips, etc when i start running in spring. What have you been running with that 2.4?
