2012 StreetThisEVO Build/Updates - Still Hunting For 8's
#303
The car picked up 46 mph in the back half on that pass haha! I think the car will go 162 in the 1/4 on the 3586 and my setup.
I never posted this (at least I don't think I did) but when I blew my headgasket awhile back the two spark plugs that toasted themselves thought it would be nice to go through my turbine wheel. My exhaust wheel is pretty messed up. While the car is down I am going to send the turbo to Robert to get it all freshened up and new again. With the rebuilt turbo my boost recovery will be night and day and it should help get the car out of the hole. It comes into boost like a 42r right now haha.

Nothing to great yet.
As I posted back in June I ran the car at the IDRC Buschur Event. Had clutch issues. Got a new clutch from QM and took the car to a local track. First pass of the trailer I went 9.7 @ 155.7 mph taking it very easy and with a hurt turbo. I then blew the ring and pinion apart on my tcase. So I had to pack it up one again.
Since then I have fixed the tcase and had Robert at Forced Performance pull my turbo apart for a complete rebuild. I just got it all back together today actually. Did a boost leak test and found a few small leaks that will be fixed.
I am going on vacation the next two weekends so I am going to have to wait till the DSM/EVO Shootout in a few weeks to run her again.
I 'think' I finally have all the bugs figured out. I have learned a lot in the last month or so.
