Well today I ordered a bunch of stuff.

- 2 complete sets (8 rims total) of 15 x 7 Rota Slipstreams (Black). For the price you can't go wrong! Not to mention they are fairly light coming in at 13.2 lbs each. I found a dealer willing to sell them for $970 shipped for all 8 bnib!!!

- (4) 235/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A Drag Radials. Again with my mad price shopping skills I found a dealer willing to sell all 4 brand new for $633 shipped to my door. These retail for almost $180 each from Summit Racing. These will be my street tires.

AWD Motorsports/Torque Solutions hooked me up with a bad *** care package of parts!!

- AWD Motorsports aluminum driveshaft (should save about 15 lbs total vs OEM stuff)
- Torque Solution driveshaft bushings
- Torque Solution passenger side motor mount (2.x lbs lighter then the OEM mount)
- Torque Solution transmission mount (with my battery/ignition box relocated I want a pretty mount to look at haha)
- Torque Solution short throw shifter
- Torque Solution shifter base bushings

I will be ordering all the other parts needed hopefully before the end of the year. I have a nice 10 day vacation coming up and will have lots of time to get some work done on the car. Buschur Racing your next!! I want to get my M and H slicks ordered soon. There is word that their prices will be going up for the first time in 5 years at the start of the new year.

Lots of pics will be posted as the parts come in.

We need to talk about a few things. I'll give ya buzz sometime this week if your free.

You know it brother!!

I like your motivational skillz! Car is gonna be a beast Chris..

We cannot wait for the DSM/EVO Shootout!

Another Update!

Just ordered a Momo Mod 69 steering wheel. I love the way it looks but am not crazy about the yellow painted Momo on the face of it. I think I will try and paint match the car and hand paint the Momo a new color. I know it is small but I hate yellow lol. Just need the hub now.

I'm like a kid on Christmas morning. I want these new parts to come in already!!!

I have a few sets of nice aluminum hubcentric spacers I bought off of Ebay that I use. The exact size/s used will be determined once the tires are on the rims. I also use ARP studs up front (About $35 per corner) and 10mm extended studs that came with one of the sets of spacers I purchased.

Thanks man!

----------------------------------

I have had a few PM's in regards to the Rota's I bought. I purchased them from:

Jun Huang
A Spec Wheels & Tires LLC
Http://www.aspecwheels.net

1200 20th Ave
Oakland , CA 94606
Phone:510-533-3533 Ext 500
Fax : 510-533-2533

He is a nice guy and shipping is pretty quick. I ordered them on the 19th and they should be here on the 27th or so he said. Not to bad considering the holiday and all. Don't qoute me on pricing but I'd say he would charge about $485 shipped for a set of 4. I was going to order from Ebay and sent the seller a message and this is how I got in contact with him.

Hope that helps!

Got my Momo Mod 69 steering wheel in! It looks sweet!

I just need to buy the hub now.

I did a little more work on the car tonight. I am getting ready to start working on all the wiring and cleaning. Should be a fun time ha

Last Friday we stopped by Buschur and ordered up all the parts to convert the car to an electric water pump and to delete the abs/brake booster. Those parts should be here sometime this week. I am off work until next year so want to put some good time into getting a decent amount done to the car.

I'm so pumped to get this thing back together!!

Works Bell Rapfix Boss steering hub. Standard length. Model # WB-048178.

The suede is great. I was looking at the lap 5 as well but didn't want leather. On a hot day I figured the suede would be better and offer more grip. I don't wear gloves when I race. It should be nice.

Haha, I pretty much ordered all the same stuff from Mike a month or so ago...I am finally doing a 5 spd swap in a month or so & will load my car up with TS products & of course AWD driveshaft...Now I am just waiting for Buschur to get his rear diff supports with poly bushings back in stock...

I also picked up one of the LAST Buschur harness bars as well. So besides the steering while our interior looks almost exactly the same, haha...

Sucks what happened to your car at the Face Off man, wish I got a chance to bull sh*t with you for a bit at at the event too. Good luck during the 2012 season!!
