They were within 50 dollars of the AD08's price wise for 4 shipped... (tire rack wholesale)

The AD08's are lighter 27lbs vs 29lbs
The AD08's have more tread depth 10/32 vs. 9/32
The AD08's have a finitely smaller OD (means they'll fit better) than the DZII's
and The AD08's have an 11.2" section width versus the 11.4 of the DZII's

which that last one could be seen as a disadvantage, but I'm trying to get the car lower to reduce COG... and having a smaller section width means I'll be able to lower the car more and yet still have a tire that is plenty wide!

I'm finishing polishing my ccw's tonight. Tomorrow I'll work on sorting the garage some more to get the car up on jackstands to DO WORK.

Hope to copy your wheel setup one day. Lol.

I still want to try 17x9.5 +32 275/40/17 <-- would this fit well?

Anyway lets see those freshly polished CCW's back on the car.

On my past EVOs the 285/30/18 actually fits better than the taller tires you mentioned. Other's experiences may vary, just my experience/IMHO. . .

Those tires look so baller! Be sure to make a review of them once you've put some serious use on them.

In 2011 OLOA we won the class at several of the road courses and took 1st in class/6th overall in the dry skid pad using these awesome tires!

These tires are also much better in the wet than the comparable Hankooks.

I'll weight the ccws today at work. Were waiting on a tire mounting tool before I get these mounted up.

I drove a stg2 b8 s4.... Awesome car supercharged 3.0l, stg 3+ Tsi fwd jetta, and the "super beetle" 2.0 TSI with an awd swap... VERY fun car. All vw/Audi cars love to be flat shifted . I'll post some pics of the cars. I think I enjoyed the b8s4 more than the s7 or s8.

I should state that I drove them while tuning them or logging . I love my job.

Rather than walk out and snap pictures I'll just link to a few that have already been taken

Here's Arin's B8S4 <3
