When my manifold is done I will return to the States to finish the final assembly. After that, shipping the car to newcountry of residence. Was really hoping to have it all complete before I left but that didn't happen. Will keep you guys posted.

This has been a good help thanks!
Have started a 4G69 build myself a few weeks ago.

As much info as possible would be great!

Ask away Benja. Happy to answer any questions you have. At this point I will probably be one of the first to build a 4g69 and the last to have the actual car running haha.

Took me almost 5 years to build my car. Don't fret or hurry. Do it how you want it and never look back. Nothing is less fulfilling than shortchanging your building or cutting corners.

Joe, thanks for the support man but don't worry. I've done this to my spec from start to finish/better or worse. No rushing going on and def no cutting of corners as my wallet can attest to that Just when waiting on that last part that the whole build fringes on you can feel a bit worn thin.

ToFast, I appreciate the kind words man. You look to have one hell of a build going on yourself. Might want to look into vendor status.

Ok thanks mate.

- We are going 87.5mm pistons as well, using JE FSR's.
- Carrillo Pro-H beam rods.

Are you o-ringing the block/head at all? I'm a little concerned about the lack of meat between cylinders.
Our car will be running the new Garrett GTX40 (similar to 6466 size) at whatever boost it takes to make 650+ on E70.

Thanks guys. Trust me, at the three year mark of the car being down now I'm anxious as well. Just waiting on the manifold for it all to come together.

Beja: I didn't opt to o-ring the block. Used the best head gasket I could and tapered end h11 tooling steel head studs so we'll see what happens. Guess starting out like this will give us a yay or nay in regards to whether an 87.5 mm bore on a 4g block will hold or blow haha.
