Not going tubular manifold right now, over budget.

Mad Cow is done (for now).

She made 480Awhp on 92 pump. My goal was 525+ but i know why she is down on power. When i first saw it i was upset that $15k of work only netted me 50hp, but i quickly got over that. For starters, she is only on 22psi right now. She was previously making 430AWHP on 27#s. As you can see in the graph it made 440AWHP on 20#s. So slightly more power on 7psi less boost is pretty nice.

So why arent we running the 27psi we were before? Well the Crap pile of a manifold is severely choking the engine with back pressure. The car was running into knock and just couldnt take anymore boost. I plan on eventually getting a manifold for the car and getting it re-tuned in the future, but right now i am going to step back and enjoy the car before i go tossing another $2000 at it. maybe this winter when English does their yearly Dyno weekend closer to me, i might go for the new manifold and open her up. Right now i am just going to call it a 480AWHP break in tune.

92 pump gas should be good for 28-29psi of boost, car gained about 20hp per lb of boost between the 20psi and 22psi run @ 440hp to 480hp. being conservative on saying it would average 15hp per lb of boost from 20 up to 28#s puts the car at 560AWHP. if i am lucky and it holds 20hp per psi up to 28, that puts the car at 620awhp. Only time will tell what it actually can do.

Was winter time so i jumped in an started to work on some things.
Got a Cyber Evo Ed Front (replica) for track days. I am going to make my own canards that match the Cyber Evo ones. The standard voltex canards just dont seem very aero efficient.

Also made some brackets to help hold the under tray in the correct place and transfer down force into the frame rails. I need to make 2 more for the middle still.

Also got started on the engine bay clean up. Alot of hack work done under there over the years by previous owners. While working i popped a hole in the AC condenser, well BECAUSE RACECAR, i guess i will remove it.

Also i knew the last owner and i knew he blew a Rad hose and it blew coolant everywhere, After a year of daily driving it after he blew the coolant hose the thickness of the dirt in the engine bay was horrendous because of the sticky coolant. I spent a few hours wiping things down to the point were i can actually see white paint again.

Wiring was ridiculous. I am going to have alot to sort through. Pulled the meth kit wiring out and a few other random wires that lead to no where.

Made a Custom Breaker bracket for the trunk mounted Battery.

Got a few things Powder coated.

Worked on my Custom Oil Cooler setup

Stealth Zetronix instal.

Drilled and tapped the IM for the IAC sensor, the EM for EGT and the Tstat housing for water temp.

Welded up the old IAC hole in the IC piping as well as the old meth nozzle hole.

Thanks man. Alot of work left to do.

I didnt like the Fiberglass mounts my Vmount wing came with so i Fabbed up some of my own.

Then Chamfered the edges and countersunk all the holes.

There were a few things i didnt like on the wing so i fixed those too. It came with a hardware kit that was all Cap screws and way to long. Basically the least aero dynamic bits they could of supplied. I got all new hardware and counter sunk what i could.

Their bolt vs the counter sunk ones i used. Only thing visible is the nut. (yes threads fully engage the nylon locknut)

Bunch of things back from PC, Wrinkle black. Going to do another batch next winter in the flake blue again. The VC, Turbo compressor housing, New Radiator brackets, the WG hat and the BOV hat. Ran out of time/funds for this winters upgrade session, so those will have to wait for next winter for their PC.

Got a Fluid Damper for the 2.4LR

Got my first set of Sparcos on. Pass side to come in the spring.

Got it all back together this weekend. Spent a good 20 hours. Cleaned up more wiring, Engine bay dress up and new wheel well liners as well.

On its shake down drive to get gas and back. Still rocking the winter wheels.
