This car should blow away the AMS record if it can make a clean straight pass. Looking forward to seeing what its capable of at MIR. That track hooks!

That would be epic...but the Demon just ran an 8.1 and is only going to be quicker. The STM RS would have its work cut out...and being an Evo owner of course I'd like to see the RS win.

What about this vs Junk Box? I think both of these cars have some real potential to make some waves when they get out there, FP's latest turbos are certainly making things interesting

I would imagine the RS being quicker than the JB. It's much lighter and the power will most likely be pretty close.

I think the junk box is 2550 or so....makes the STM car 500+lb lighter. Serious weight advantage to the RS.

Wow. I hadn't looked too closely into that, more just looked at the PBs so far as a gauge of ability to go fast with what they had so far - and knowing JB is getting more aggressive about it in overall development, but that weight advantage is serious business... late model EVO record may finally be taken off STM NZ by STM USA? Seems fitting haha

You can only make a car so fast if you are independently building it.. Most people would give up trying to make a Evo go 8's backed by their own checkbook. Regardless both the RS and Junkbox ill be flying I assure that!
