Those tire are wiiiiddddeee. Wow. I wonder how the 255/40r17 NT01's I'm getting this week are going to fit compared the 255/40 Dunlop Z2's that are coming off of my track wheels.

Interesting. My ohlins perches sit at about the same height (if I'm not mistaken) using 8" springs, that's why I thought your springs were also 8". I think you should try the Ohlins first, then make your call.

Okay, update on wheel fitment!
Finally installed my Ohlins and did some fitment testing....
I start with the rear to make sure I made enough fender clearance, turns out I have more than enough and I didn't really have to roll the fenders as much as I did, but oh well.
Between installing the Ohlins, I took advantage of having no strut installed and tested fitment of the 18x10.5 +30 NT03+M and 275 NT01 tires by moving the suspension through it's stroke:
Plenty of fender clearance.
Clears the lower arm just fine:
The only thing it comes pretty close to is the inside fender liner but I doubt the car will ever compress this much with the struts on.
Now, onto the front...
I haven't got the front ride height exactly where I want it, probably lower it maybe 1/4 of an inch more to get closer to where I had it before so some of this clearance might change a tad.
I had another set of custom spacers made, 12mm, here is the wheel/tire to strut clearance with 12mm, huge:
Here is with a 5mm spacer:
and without a spacer!
I can fit a spanner wrench between the tire/wheel and the strut body. I'm amazed it fits (barely) with no spacer. although that might change once the tire gets hot so not sure if I want to push it.
I'm going to install some ARP studs in the front so I can run either set of spacers I want. I really don't have to for the 5mm spacer but with so much tire I wouldn't mind the stronger studs.
