Tell me about it.

Engine was being put all together and a misplaced part put it on hold for two weeks as I had to re-order a $2.50 cam bearing.

Continuing to test my patience but at least it isn't being rushed.

This thread is so informative.

I haven't read the whole thread but i want to why you used so much heat shielding ?
Are you going to take it to circuit or auto x ?

With the requested clearances which engine oil grade are you going to use ?

Derp. At least the misplaced part was inexpensive, and not overlooked...

Car is used for track and with the turbo in the back on the 4b11, decided to go overkill on the heat shielding.

Most likely going to use 5w40 or 10w50 oil.

Super clean build! Can't wait to see it done. With all that heat shielding on it should easily pass the **** Visual smog test we have here in CA as long as they don't see the wastegate (which they probably won't).

Yes, came with MAP kit. It's unique fabbed for their kit.

The real problem is the 02 sensor hitting the drive shaft...

Arrghhhh.

Yeah that's really bad what's your alternative? Block that off and weld another bung on?

I contacted MAP as soon as I found out. To their credit, they where very fast in reply. They are looking into it. Going to see what they say first.

Knowing how map handles fitment issues, they're probably going to tell you it must be an issue with your car.
