EVO IX Go to Show Thread
Long time lurker. I've had a few evo VIII's an V and my last was a X
Any way, about 3 months ago I bought a standard looking IX with a few cosmetic problems and a tiny bit of rust on one arch:
The only Mods were performace pushing the car just shy of 400bhp
Turbosmart bov
Walbro fuel pump
HKS spf induction kit
Down pipe
Decat pipe
HKS spark plugs
ARP rod bolts
ecutek remap
HKS oil filter
HKS evc 6 boost controller
I drove it for a month before sending it to my friends shop to be updated and fixed.
First off the car was undersealed to save it from the harsh British winter
Arch rust was sorted
Headlights blacked out
Calipers and engine refurbished in teal blue with a pearl along with some XXR wheels
Some smoothing and new paint on the front along with a lot of Carbon and power brace.
This is it when I picked it up last Friday:
Plans include cleaning up the interior, re-map, new exhaust and a few other pieces, oh and some coilovers so it doesn't look like its on stilts!
