Restoring the Evo 8 **Lil by Lil**

So I picked this up about a week ago now and all I have to say is I’m loving every min I’ve been in it, Here’s a few pics of some of the projects that I have cut out for me in my quest to making the car look even sexier. When I picked it up it was in need for some TLC ---> Wing-->Hood-->Front Bumper... ohh and new tires

You can kind of see how the clear is peeling of really bad on the spoiler , just picture the hood plus the hole CF section on the wing lol

Not My pic just giving you an example of how mine looked

Started doing some of the sanding (Note I’m no expert in this department but I’m also not new- there’s been a lot of trial and error for from past projects) Sorry for the lack in pics I was so excited on getting this done I completely forgot to take almost any pics. For those that have seen the car in person you know what it looks like, once I removed about 95% silver old paint it was primer white. Again I apologies for the lack of pics

day and night difference on the carbon fiber spoiler and hood. Could you describe your wet sanding and buffing process for the spoiler, hood and headlights? BTW good luck with your project, it looks a lot better!!

It’s pretty simple if you have a rotary hand sander which is what I used and as you can see I got great results.

I fallow the steps from this How to:

Did you use the same process on your headlights?
