Newbie to this (gotta start somewhere =))..

So, I've got a 96' Mitsubishi lancer GSR TURBO 4WD 1.8 DOHC SEDAN.
And it's that time of the year again to get a warrant of fitness so it can be road legal. I have an external waste gate 38mm on it with a dump pipe/screamer pipe coming off it into the atmosphere? It's illegal..what is the quickest and cheapest way to go about it? Need to isolate or minimise the problem. Meaning plumb back in to exhaust or remove the gate or block it off?

 

Probably not the best place on the forum to post this.

But, you probably need to get a stock O2 sensor housing on the car for inspection.

 

If you want it legal then plumb it back in or go back to the internal wastegate.

Screamer pipes sound **** anyway.
